Local to Redwood City, CA Hybrid (Onsite one week in a month)
Contract 3 months+
Examples of Duties:
- Fulfilling Epic module build requirements for the Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation module that the analyst has a current/active Epic certification, as part of our new installation of Epic
- Obtaining Build requirements under the guidance of the Epic Project Team
- Collaborating with SME's, SMCH Analysts, Epic analysts and project Team
- Provide feedback and possible recommendations based on Epic Foundation build
- Participates in planning, implementation and project phase activities for the assigned application module, gathering specifications, asking discovery questions, capturing process gaps, demonstrating Epic foundation build and workflow design, and tracking risk/issues and requests.
- Completion of assigned Cogito application tasks on time as set forth by our Epic Project team alignment with our Implementation timeline/project phase to support our project Go live readiness
Requirements:
- Current Active Epic Certification in Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation with minimum of 2 years of Epic EpicCare Ambulatory design, build, implementation experience within a healthcare organization
- Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application systems analysis, workflow analysis, build, design, testing, interface knowledge and programming activities.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the inpatient/outpatient environment and hospital operations, procedures/functions and the relationships between them.
- Exhibits solid knowledge of the revenue cycle workflows and the integration with clinical processes and practices
Qualifications: Current Active Epic Certification in Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation
Education & Experience:
- Two plus years of Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation design, build, implementation experience within a healthcare organization
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Electronic health record systems, specifically Epic software applications.
- Software development life cycle including requirement gathering and analysis, design, implementation or coding, testing, deployment and maintenance.
- Design, implementation, testing, updating, maintenance, evaluation, and analysis of system configuration, system setup, and application tables.
- Clinical applications and regulatory standards, a wide range of application functionality, content, and associated workflows.
