Outreach Coordinator

At Sunlight Solar Energy, our Outreach Coordinator is key to the marketing and sales team, acts as the first contact for inquiries and customer correspondence, and assists with developing partnerships locally. We will fully train. Great interactions both technically and socially. There is no cold calling. Everyone wants to learn about solar for their home or business and they are contacting us.

Details:

· This is a FT position - hours can vary, and periodically involves some weekend time for special events

· Flexible with in office and remote work

· PTO available and accrues based on hours worked

Responsibilities:

· Assists potential customers in choosing solar solutions best for them, guides customers through the process. Technical training will be provided about solar photovoltaics and incentives will be provided.

· Regularly communicates with potential and current customers via email and phone

· Emails solar information packets and prepares data for hand to our in-house Solar System Designers

· Enters solar projects into state database and tracks work to completion

· Maintains in-house database of inquiries and solar projects

· Work with team on regular social media postings, and organize quarterly newsletter

· Distribute any press releases to local media

· Help organize any advertising campaigns

· Assist in maintaining company website (WordPress currently)

· Help with outreach to community members, builders, architects, roofers, and other professionals

· Establish local partnerships with other trades and community groups

· Plan, set up, and attend community events or fairs

· Help management with compiling sales and marketing data

Requirements:

· Outgoing and strong communicator

· Interest in promoting solar and energy storage systems

· Desire to learn, and educate clients and staff

· Collaborative, comfortable working with a small team

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure

· Willing to pitch in and help whenever needed

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Comfortable with Excel, Word, Google platform

· Helpful to be familiar with Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress, and social media postings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
