Environmental Sustainability Manager

What do you get to do in this position?

• Support the current Green Materials (Green Plastics, Green Steel) program with roadmap prioritization and consolidation / assessing the environmental impact of each action with dashboards to track progress, impact analysis (cost, lead time, environmental impact such as carbon footprint).

• Secure compliance to environmental directives and regulations (RoHS, REACH, WEEE, Prop 65, TSCA, PFAs, etc.) for preexisting and new offers.
• Support in the generation of environmental documents such as environmental declarations (PEP Product Environment Profiles)
• Use digital tools to create Life-cycle Analysis, Product Environmental Profiles and End-of-Life Instructions.

• Become a key contributor to support our business teams with know how of government policies, regulations around sustainability
• Market study, analysis and benchmarking H&D sustainable products and solutions vis a vis competition in NAM market as well as other geographies
• Working closely with H&D marketing team for sustainability positioning of H&D offers through multiple campaigns
• Applying and winning business awards in the region centered around sustainability

This job might be for you if:

• Bachelors in science (B.S.) or degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Environmental, Materials, Industrial, Chemical, Mechatronics)
• Masters in Environmental Sustainability or related field would be a plus
• 3+ years of experience in sustainability procurement, eco-design, materials science, recycled stream within an industrial environment with overall 5-7 years of work experience
• You are knowledgeable in the field of technical climate solutions or closely related subject areas such as efficiency, electrification, and renewable energy.
• You are well adept in assessing carbon footprint of product, project and business and well versed with GHG protocol and other related science
• Solid experience and able to manage, organize, and optimize databases & information.
• Leadership, Excellent communication skills (English/Spanish), both verbally and written.

• You are analytic, change agent, organized, honest, proactive, highly motivated, and responsible.

• Having knowledge of Schneider Home and distribution offers is a plus
