Job Description
This position is responsible for the ESH Management System and related matters for operations across MFC. The position is located at the MFC Orlando operations site and is a key member of the MFC BA Enterprise ESH Leadership Team. This role reports directly to the MFC ESH Director and engages across other operations and functions as required. This Senior Manager directly manages the ESH organization, performance and execution in Orlando operations and works to execute ESH strategy across the enterprise.
A history of sustained results, leadership, prioritization, coordination and consistent deployment of strategy, customer service and compliance are requirements for this position. Direct responsibilities encompass Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Environmental Protection (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Bureau of Alcohol, Tabaco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), state and local environmental and Health regulatory compliance, energy management and multifunctional program support with medical and worker compensation groups. All legal matters associated with LM Orlando, MFC, or related operations will be part of the individual's responsibilities. The individual in this position works cross functionally and develops relationships to achieve compliance, positive community relations, influence a positive ESH culture and results that drive business performance.
This position leads a staff of (9+) ESH professionals and a range of professional consulting vendors. MFC ESH professionals, directly reporting and across the enterprise, are considered subject matter experts in their field and across the corporation. Contractors and vendors managed work ESH projects including Operations and Management of environmental systems. The ability to influence proactive and continual improvement in a transformational and dynamic work environment is crucial to success. Expected results will focus on driving a proactive, sustainable, and continuously improving ESH management system, developing and enhancing SME and L-code talent pools, innovating transformation, and performing with excellence.
The Orlando operations are headquarters to several MFC programs, has extensive research and development laboratories and test environments, along with extensive production operations.
Position includes enterprise responsibilities for the leadership, direction, and integration of the ESH functions and programs throughout the MFC and LM business to include compliance, risk management, business life cycles, social / environmental sustainment, and government regulatory, corporate, and business requirements.
This position will represent the MFC ESH organization across several internal and external venues.
Prepare and execute capital, operational, and financial plans.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be willing to travel.
Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Basic Qualifications
* Completed bachelors degree or higher
* Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
* Seasoned leader with experience leading an operations-oriented team and working across a large organization to meet business success milestones.
* Success in developing talent and managing performance
* Success applying emotional intelligence, psychological safety, and addressing difficult matters with individuals across a diverse team
* Ability to direct a SME organization and assist in prioritization and engagement for business success.
* Ability to build effective relationships in a complex, dynamic and transforming environment with competing priorities.
* Familiarity and operational acumen of ESH MIS such as Enablon
* Sustained success leading ESH professionals, subject matter experts, and leaders in a complex environment
* Ability to engage up and down the chain of command with optimized business success record, including financial impacts
* An ESH professional with credentials in education and professional designations
* Successful application and sustainment of internationally recognized E, S&H, Management systems
* Working across multiple locations including virtual when necessary
* Experience working with regulators through compliance and risk management matters and examples meeting compliance and conformance requirements with interpretation and response
* Working complex remediation matters with regulatory oversight
* Experience in a heavy industrial environment meeting safety compliance and applying risk reduction methodologies.
* Financial acumen with experience managing large budgets at an enterprise level and capital planning
* Willingness to travel - approximately 30%

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $127,700 - $244,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $146,800 - $276,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
