Role Description
This is a part-time independent contractor remote position for an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist. The position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, identifying hazards, and developing toolbox talks for ongoing safety training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health or SafetyScience
- 3+ years of EHS experience
- Knowledge of US and Canadian federal and state health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Proficient with Google suite
- Experience in the property restoration industry is a plus
- OSHA-certified trainer a plus
What You Will Do
- Develop safety training materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Create toolbox talk handouts and supplemental information
- Develop safety training video outlines on a diverse range of topics
- Create scripts for safety training videos
- Be the technical expert, and provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders
- Return deliverables by deadlines
Pay
- $28/hour
- You will be paid as an independent contractor
- Depending on our needs, and your availability, the position may develop into a larger role in the future. We anticipate 2-6 hours per week to start.
