Form of workRedaptive is seeking an Energy Engineer to join our team; in this role, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing energy-efficient systems and solutions to ensure the successful execution of our energy-efficiency technology solutions. Your primary focus will be developing strategies to reduce energy consumption, enhance sustainability, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Additionally, you will oversee the quality control of third-party partner project development deliverables, inputs, and research and development to maintain subject matter expertise (SME). The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering (mechanical), a deep understanding of energy systems, and a passion for driving innovation in energy efficiency. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Delivery Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform QA/QC on comprehensive energy audits for industrial and commercial facilities to identify areas for energy savings.
- Analyze energy consumption patterns and recommend cost-effective measures to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with other engineering professionals to integrate sustainable design principles into existing sites.
- Utilize energy modeling software to simulate and analyze the performance of various energy systems.
- Interpret data to provide insights into energy consumption trends and recommend adjustments for optimal efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their energy needs and goals.
- Provide expert advice on energy-efficient technologies and strategies to achieve sustainability objectives.
- Manage energy projects from concept to handover to the execution team, including project scoping, RFP creation, and third-party proposal QA/QC review.
- Clear blockers for team, project status/updates, managing communications with 3rd parties to discuss project timelines and deliverables.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, energy) preferred or relevant experience.
- 4-5+ years of experience.
- CEM and EIT is preferred.
- Proven experience in Energy Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with energy modeling software and tools. (ASHRAE level 1 & 2 audit experience preferred).
- Knowledge of energy data analysis and benchmarking.
- Knowledge of building systems: central utility plants, chillers, boilers, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
