Job Details
- Draft and revise safety policies as needed and oversee distribution to applicable employees and contractors. Develop and implement annual safety action plan.
- Oversight of wastewater Hazardous waste Disposal spill prevention control and plan inspections in accordance with state and federal requirements
- Manage Fire and Ammonia Evacuation Training
- Train managers on how to perform effective and complete investigations. Assist with root cause analysis.
- Review investigations to determine if proper corrective action was taken.
- Teach and hold managers accountable for safety training and consulting with their employees. Develops Training curriculum specific to injury
- Provide guidance to management on matters relating to EHS policies and procedures.
- Oversee training and compliance tracking and recordkeeping, including OSHA log maintenance. Ensure compliance with OSHA specific and general industry regulations, along with other applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Lead the management Safety/Workers’ Compensation claim review committee.
- Safety Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular, comprehensive on-site safety assessments and monitor corrective actions taken.
- Develop and administer effective Safety Incentive Program
- Help develop effective engineering and behavioral controls to reduce workplace hazards and injuries.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Will manage and update DOT driver files.
