The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager will lead and manage the business unit’s safety function by planning, implementing, and overseeing safety in the workplace and for ensuring Labeling and Coding facilities and remote employees are adhering to Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) guidelines. In this role you will….

• Partner with Safety and Health consultants to ensure that facilities are following all regulatory requirements.
• Advise leadership on environmental, Health and Safety issues.
• Manage third party portals as it pertains to all EH&S reporting requirements.
• Conduct Incident Investigations and Risk Assessments. Provide feedback and recommendations to leadership.
• Lead local Safety committee and develop safety campaigns across the division.
• Drive EHS compliance through relationship buildings, audits, process / equipment review and proactive risk elimination and track corrective actions to closure.
• Inspect job sites and verify compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Develop, implement, and enforce company policies and procedures to eliminate workplace hazards and to minimize the risk of work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Liaise with the General Managers to ensure each team is following safety regulations and guidelines and company policies and procedures related to workplace safety on each facility.
• Prepare web-based seminars, classroom and instructor lead training, training matrix and informational materials on environmental, safety and health.
• Partner with Corporate EHS Director to align with Initiates, Strategy, and ongoing compliance related items.

Who we’re looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety, Safety Management or related degree preferred
• Safety-related professional certifications desired
• 1-3 years of experience with an emphasis in Health and Safety management or experience in a similar manufacturing/industrial environment
• Ability to deliver internal Health and Safety management courses
• Hands-on experience in the implementation of several of the occupational health components within an EHS program (hearing conservation, hazard communication, RPE, PPE, bloodborne pathogens, laboratory safety, IAQ, and air sampling)
• Ability and willingness to perform essential physical requirements to maintain compliance with regulations and business expectations
• Experience managing EHS reporting in ISN and other customer portals.
• Ability to travel as needed (30%-40%)
