Entry Level/Jr. Packaging Engineer- Mostly onsite in Atlanta- Contract
Stratfield is seeking an Entry Level/Jr. Packaging Engineer with our client here in Atlanta. While the ideal background will have a BS Degree from a major packaging school, we are also open to an Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineering or Food Science background, so long as you have experience with packaging. The ideal background would be someone from packaging with the understanding of how to collect data, build spreadsheets and be able to speak to their findings from testing.
This is a 12 month contract. This position will be Mostly onsite, so candidates must be local to Atlanta. Candidates must be able to work on a W2 as C2C is not allowed with this client. Sorry, sponsorship and relocation are not available for this position.
What we are looking for:
- BS Degree in Packaging (we are open to an Industrial, Mechanical or Food Science Degree).
- Experience testing packaging and ideally can come up with testing scenarios. (Lab testing equipment knowledge would be a plus.)
- Solid computer literacy with the ability to build spreadsheets from data collection.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
