Entry Level Staff Accountant

Are you a recent graduate or a professional looking to kickstart your accounting career? Look no further! We are seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to support the Controller and Assistant Controller in all finance and accounting operations of the company.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Performs account reconciliations for assigned areas and books-related journal entries

· Enters cleared checks in the accounting system

· Completes bank reconciliations and cash journal entries

· Responsible for credit card reconciliation

· Maintains document control, ensuring compliance with record retention policy

· Remits monthly/quarterly/annual sales tax returns and annual property tax renditions

· Manages petty cash reconciliation

· Other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent education and experience combined

Experience:

· Entry-level position, 1-2 years of accounting experience would be a plus

· Strong knowledge of computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite

· Macola Progression experience a plus

Skills:

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
