SUMMARY:
Perform all duties related to incoming and outgoing shipments by performing the following duties (other duties may be assigned):
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Load, unload, & transfer products to designated areas. Safe operation and training procedures will be provided and must be followed. Products will be of varying sizes, weights, and packaging and will require the use of different lifting equipment, including hand-carried, overhead cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
· Inspection of products & packaging, including dimensional inspections with the use of tape measures, calipers, weight scales, etc. A general understanding of taking and recording measurements is preferred.
· Recording product discrepancies and non-conformance on appropriate paperwork.
· Performing inventory checks and audits.
· Organizing products during shipping and receiving for maximum efficiency.
· Packaging customer orders in accordance with their sales order, completing appropriate paperwork on internal software, and including copies with the product for shipment.
· Maintaining a neat & orderly workspace, including moving pallets, products, sweeping, and disposal of debris.
· Follow all safety procedures and be willing to report any dangerous conditions immediately.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· High School diploma or general education degree (GED): and one-year manufacturing background is required.
· An understanding of measurements, measuring tools & devices is required.
· Basic computer skills required -email, online portals, navigating internal computer systems
LANGUAGE Ability:
Ability to read, write, & comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence. Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, management, and other employees.
TOOL REQUIREMENTS:
· Experience operating forklifts
· Ability to read calipers, pi tape, and tape measure
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
· Work 40-55 hours per week
· Stand for long periods of time
· Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
· Wear steel toe boots (ASTM Standard)
