We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level QA Automation Engineer. This position presents an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with minimal experience to kickstart their career in quality assurance and automation testing. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the QA team to understand project requirements and define test strategies and plans for automated testing.
- Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or TestNG.
- Test Execution: Execute automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and compatibility across different platforms, browsers, and devices.
- Defect Management: Identify, report, and track software defects using issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Regression Testing: Implement and maintain regression test suites to ensure the stability and integrity of software releases across multiple iterations.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitLab CI to enable automated build and deployment processes.
- Test Reporting: Generate test reports and metrics to communicate test results, trends, and quality insights to stakeholders, including defect trends, test coverage, and automation progress.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level, Certified Selenium Automation Tester) are a plus but not required.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, TestNG).
- Understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (RESTful APIs) is advantageous.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira) is desirable.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products through rigorous testing practices.
- Teamwork and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for documenting test cases, reporting defects, and conveying testing results.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and tools in the field of QA automation and stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

Pay: $60,581.76 - $85,507.07 per year
