Entry Level Home Health Aide Trainee

No COVID Vaccine Required! This training class takes place in our Henrietta office.

Earn while you learn and get certified as a Home Health Aide!! This certificate is recognized by New York State Dept of Health.

• Must be available to attend a full day of New Employee Orientation on April 29th at our Henrietta Office from 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM.
• Must be available to attend class April 30th- May 21st , Monday through Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM for a period of three weeks in Rochester NY.
• During the 3 week class you are paid $17.55 an hour.
• Classes are a combination of "hands on" with your classmates in our nursing lab, learning from a manual/DVDs, lectures etc.
• Tests and quizzes are given to ensure your fully knowledgeable to perform the job.
• Skills competency checks are completed with our students by our RN Clinical Educator - to test your hands on caregiving skills.

After Successfully Completing the 3 Week Class:

• You become a Certified Home Health Aide and earn $17.55 per hour making visits to HCR's homebound patients in your county.
• Great news! Mileage is now being reimbursed at $65.5 cents per mile.
