Position: Entry Level Helpdesk
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Responsibilities
- Support and be responsible for defined Helpdesk administration activities.
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ensure that planned and unplanned events are being ticketed and assigned and resolved in accordance Infrastructure guidelines.
- Utilization of monitoring tools to provide reactive and proactive support.
- Assist in documentation of new processes and procedures to improve team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in IT asset control at multiple locations.
Required Skills and Qualification
- Help Desk/Work Order/Phone support.
- Tier 1 knowledge Windows 11 Operating Systems
- Initial troubleshooting
- Microsoft Office application understanding
- Spyware/Virus/Malware basic troubleshooting skills
- Printer support in desktop and network environment
- Mobile Device Management understanding.
- Basic skills in a Windows Active Directory environment
- Basic network troubleshooting skills
- VPN client or Remote Access troubleshooting skills
Required Experience and Responsibilities
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field (required)
- Plus 1-2 years of related experience:
- Candidate must have basic knowledge in Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), etc.
- Understanding of ITIL Incident Management and ability to apply best practices.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- 1 year or more related experience in a Level 1 Support role
