Wendel is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Entry Level Environmental Engineer to join our growing Environmental Engineering team out of our Williamsville, NY headquarters. If you are an entry-level Civil Engineer interested in furthering your career in the Water and Wastewater fields, then this position is the right fit for you.
Responsibilities:
- Work on infrastructure projects and assist with the process planning, design, and construction administration of those projects.
- Provide support to technical leads and project managers for medium to large scale design and construction projects including distribution system and collection system improvements as well as water and wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation work.
- Ask questions, learn and grow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or a related field is required, a Masters Degree is preferred.
- An EIT certificate is preferred, but we will consider a candidates overall experience and background.
- Experience with modeling software (WaterCAD, BioWin), water/wastewater treatment processes, hydraulics, and construction inspection is a plus.
- Must have your own transportation for travel to job sites and client meetings.
- A true team-player who is highly organized and has strong time-management skills.

Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000
Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. Salary offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
