ENGINEER - COMPLIANCE | REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline (minimum)
- 5-10 years of professional experience
- Experience with and comfort navigating State and related applicable regulations required; Experience with TSCA, FIFRA, EPCRA, CWA, CAA, SPCC, SWPPPs, FRPs, Erosion Control Plans, and/or SDWA a plus.
ENGINEER - COMPLIANCE | PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental engineering.
- Professional Engineering license or the ability to obtain a PE license within 12 months of hire
- Experience in coal combustion residual compliance preferred
- Experience in CERCLA, RCRA, slope stability, landfills, stormwater features and/or geotechnical preferred

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and direct the design, implementation, and operation of environmental investigation and remediation projects from start to finish, including proposal preparation, client communications, negotiation of change orders, preparation of technical documents, and oversight of field and office personnel.
- Successfully manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety to achieve or exceed client expectations.
- Develop and execute data-driven decision-making frameworks to identify viable paths forward and guide clients through the process of understanding and addressing a wide variety of environmental challenges.
- Complete and oversee sampling and data collection for environmental media (air, surface water, groundwater, wastewater, storm water, hazardous waste, solid waste, special waste, soil, and sediment) for laboratory testing.
- Travel to client meetings and project sites to oversee and/or perform fieldwork as needed (estimated at an average of less than 25 percent of time).
- Provide engineering support for other services beyond investigation and remediation, such as property condition assessments, environmental site assessments, spill pollution prevent and control (SPCC) plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and various other related aspects of environmental due diligence and compliance.
