Form of workR-dent Dental Laboratory is a full-service Dental Laboratory. Family owned since 1978, we manufacture dental prosthesis such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, partials, retainers and more by using laser scanners, 3D printers, CAD/CAM technology, milling machines, and by modeling clay, wax, wire, glass ceramics, and zirconia. This entry level position provides a great opportunity and introduction into the field of dental technology. The ideal candidate will display good hand-eye coordination along with artistic and mechanical abilities.
Technician Hours: Sunday-Thursday 5pm-2am (with one hour lunch break)
Location: Bartlett,TN
Salary: starting at $14-16/hour

Depending on your position in the lab, Major Duties & Responsibilities may include:
- Construct prostheses by following the dentist's prescription
- Make models of the mouth and teeth from impressions of the patient's mouth
- Build-up wax replicas of the mouth and/or teeth on the model
- Polish and finish appliances
- Stain and glaze or contour appliances
- Correct dental irregularities by manufacturing fixed or removable appliances
- Complete implant procedures by fabricating products to fit implants that the dentist places directly into the patient's jawbone
- Replace partial or total loss of natural teeth by constructing partial or full dentures (metal and non-metal)
- Plaster casting, metal polishing, wax modeling, ceramics, wire-bending, electroplating and sandblasting
- Utilize and conserve supplies and equipment
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and attention to detail
- Experience in other area of dentistry, artistry, CAD/CAM, production, construction, food industry, or any other position requiring hand-eye coordination is preferred (such as nail technician, jeweler, mechanic, hair dresser, camera repair, ect.)
- Dental knowledge is a plus but not required
