Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill several key positions, including a Full-Time 3D Print and Data Management Technician position at R-Dent Dental Laboratory in Bartlett, TN. Previous experience is not necessary; we offer paid, hands-on training!
Compensation Range: $12-14/hour (depending on skill, experience, production rates).
Shift: Full-time Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm (subject to change based on company needs).
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of this position:
- Create case information and enter/verify patient Information in 3Shape Dental Manager after resolving any discrepancies in the data.
- Design the models to be printed, ensuring that they have the appropriate labeling and information necessary for manufacture of the product.
- Import the 3D model files into the printer software while ensuring that the 3D printer settings are correctly configured for the type of material to be used and the desired print quality.
- Utilize the nesting feature in the 3D printer software to arrange the 3D model(s) in a way that optimizes printer efficiency and minimizes material waste.
- Initiate the print process and monitor the printer for any potential issues or errors.
- Remove the finished product from the printer and post-process as needed, using appropriate tools, depending on the type of material used and the desired finish (e.g. sanding, polishing)
- Perform regular maintenance of the 3D printer (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Read the prescription
- Use computer aided design/drafting equipment and software to develop appliances and models
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written or oral form
- Problem solve and think independently and critically
- Make decisions and ask questions when uncertain
- Follow all current and future policies and procedures of R-dent Dental Laboratory
- Properly use all instruments and equipment
- Keep work area organized free of debris and clutter
- Order supplies according to policies set in place.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use small hand tools and computers, printers, and scanners.
- Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
- Lift/carry up to 25 pounds.

Thus, R-Dent Dental Laboratory was born, and we've grown from that idea about quality and service to become the largest and finest full-service dental laboratory in west Tennessee.
