Position: Full-Time Sterilization Assistant

Job Description:

As a Sterilization Assistant in our busy dental office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of infection control and safety for our patients and dental staff. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment. This includes but is not limited to:

• Cleaning and sterilizing dental instruments using autoclaves and other equipment
• Organizing and preparing dental trays for various procedures
• Monitoring and maintaining adequate inventory of dental supplies and materials
• Complying with all infection control protocols and safety guidelines
• Keeping the sterilization area and dental operatories clean and organized
• Collaborating with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Sterilization Assistant in a dental or medical setting is great but not required (training will be provided)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and busy environment
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Team player who can also work independently when required

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
