Sentara Health Plans is currently hiring a Project Manaher- PMO for Center of Excellence (COE)!

This is a Full Time position with day shift hours and great benefits!

Job Responsibilities:

  • This role is specific to the Center of Excellence for the Enterprise Project Office. The primary focus of this role is to consult and support Business leaders performing the role of a Project Manager on smaller, less complex initiatives. Responsible for training Business Leaders on how to manage projects. Sometimes called on to manage initiatives listed above as well.

Required qualifications:

  • 4years related experience in lieu of degree

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required within 1 year of hire

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Open to any healthcare experience in clinical/hospital setting but Health Plan/MCO experience is a plus

  • Experience in Training, Coaching or Mentoring is a plus

They will facilitates resolution of issues and escalates as appropriate. Conducts project lessons learned and close-out activities. Manages a minimum of 2-3 concurrent projects. 4 years related experience in lieu of degree Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required within 1 year of hire
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) - Certification - Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • Bachelor's Level Degree
  • Project Management 3 years
