Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Enterprise Performance Management Architect and Developer for the Office of Information Technology (OIT). This position is responsible for the overall support and development of Rutgers University's Oracle EPM suite of applications including Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS), Enterprise Planning and Cost Management Cloud Service (PCMCS), Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS), Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS), Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Service (EPRCS) and Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS).
Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Serves as the IT technical subject matter expert for Oracle's EPM applications. This is a highly technical hands-on role.
• Handles Rutgers Technical Design Lead for all new EPM initiatives. Responsible for overall technical solution.
• Designs and implementation of new initiatives, including creating project plans, development, creation of test plans, execution of test plans, client training and support.
• Partners with other IT organizations associated with initiative, such as infrastructure, database administration and reporting.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• A minimum of five years experience implementing and supporting one or more of Oracle EPM cloud services - ARCS, FCCS, EPBCS, EPRCS or EDMCS.

Certifications/Licenses
Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle EPM cloud services - ARCS, FCCS, EPBCS, EPRCS or EDMCS.
• Master's degree.
• Certifications in related Oracle EPM technology products.
• Previous experience working in higher education.
• Previous experience with Hyperion suite of applications including Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Public Sector Planning & Budgeting, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Strategic Finance, Hyperion Financial Reporting, and Hyperion Data Relationship Management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
• Experience with EPM Automate, batch scripting and EPM cloud integration.
• Knowledge and implementation experience of EPBCS modules.
• Experience with metadata management such as EDMCS/DRM.
• Experience with designing EPBCS web forms, business rules and financial reports.
• Experience with groovy scripting.
• Experience with developing and deploying Essbase Partitioning, performing Essbase Maxl tuning and outline tuning.
• Strong knowledge of Hyperion EPM tool architecture design constructs, multi-tiered application design, platforms, functions and features.
• Experience building interfaces to Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft HR and Custom Data Warehouses.
• Experience with Tableau.
• In-depth understanding of data modeling for multidimensional/OLAP databases, hierarchy design and dimensionality.
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, analytical, and deductive reasoning skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and address complex business requirements.
• Must be comfortable interacting with all levels of staff and management.
• Strong communication skills, oral, written, and presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
• Ability to present complex technical information, in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, in large and small groups.
