Who YOU are and what YOU will do:
This role will be based in Florida and is open to anyone willing to relocate to Florida, although our home office is located in Chicago.
This is an Enterprise Account Management Role for our K12 team. We're looking for a tenacious salesperson who is passionate about growing a business while also improving education outcomes to join our team as an Account Manager (AM) on the Packback Enterprise Customer Success team. This role is responsible for strategic territory planning, account retention, and growth for our key accounts with a focus on Florida partnerships. The ideal candidate for this role is a lifelong learner, willing to provide and receive feedback from team members on a regular basis in a shared effort to further our individual and collective revenue goals.
The successful AM can expect a range of activities, such as:
- Ensuring Retention of Current Partnerships
Retaining our current partnerships at their full potential and ensuring continuity in service. AM will maintain executive-level relationships, consistently deliver exceptional value, and proactively monitor account health metrics throughout all stages of partnership lifecycle.
- Growing Impact of Packback with Current Partners
Upselling and expanding our current contracts to additional buildings and district leaders. AMs will identify major expansion opportunities within their territory and lead opportunity planning processes to increase account relevance and revenue over time. AMs will support forecasting by fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to determine what opportunities are available to reach the maximum revenue potential.
- Provide Strategic Direction for Partnerships
This role will be able to report progress against goals and track pipeline and data in Salesforce. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to show the value of Packback throughout the contract lifecycle.
The AM will be familiar with the partner's strategic plan and funding sources to align the partnership. In partnership with Curriculum Consultant, AM will lead onboarding for new accounts, setting them up with a solid long-term plan that will ensure their goals, as well as the goals of the contract, are met.
This will require the AM to manage multiple, unique strategic plans to ensure forward momentum in partnership. In partnership, the AM will ensure Packback's Curriculum Consultants are aligned with the strategic plan and build evangelism with teachers.

What YOU bring to the table:
- Confidence in Pipeline Management. The ideal candidate will own approximately 20 accounts at various stages of the pipeline (Onboarding, fulfillment, renewal, upsell).
- Strong Task and Project Management. The ideal candidate effectively manage their time and resources, completing their work with efficiency. They autonomously set goals and schedules, utilizing their experience to make informed decisions. They have a strong network of experts across departments that they can tap into. This enables them to set and achieve most of their weekly priorities.
- Strategic Thinking and Planning with the Ability to Pivot. The ideal candidate is able to think two steps ahead and anticipate the next steps. The successful AM is ready to engage in a long-range plan that already includes A, B, and C plans.

In order to do well in this role you will need to host effective, well-planned, strategic meetings internally and externally and actively engage in dialogue, demonstrate strong listening skills, and contribute effectively to conversations. Your client communication should consistently exceed industry standards, showcasing your commitment to maintaining high-quality interactions.
- Effective relationship-building ability. The ideal candidate needs to quickly build and maintain relationships with our key decision makers to schedule Professional Development events, determine timelines, and available budgets.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Enterprise Sales for education technology.
- Prior experience as an educator is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the K-12 and Higher Education landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel as required (up to 20% of time).
