Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Sales: Developing and executing sales strategies tailored for retail media based on target accounts lists, combined with insightful understanding of market trends, reminiscent of Google's foresight and innovation in the retail and enterprise space.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Building and nurturing strong relationships with key decision-makers in large and complex retail organizations, understanding their unique needs, and presenting cutting-edge media solutions. Meet the customers where they are - in trade shows, traveling to events.
  3. Solution-Oriented Selling: Deep knowledge of retail media solutions, effectively demonstrating how these can address specific client challenges and add value, much like Google's approach to solution selling.
  4. Negotiation and Deal Closure: Skilled in negotiating terms and closing significant deals with major retail clients, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term partnerships. Finishing RFPs and Selling Ahead of RFPs.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working seamlessly with teams across the company (like marketing and product development) to deliver a unified and innovative approach to retail media solutions.

What we expect from you

  • 5-8 years of experience in retail media and enterprise sales, ideally within a very technical product and a very fast-growing dynamic startup environment, proven track record of exceeding quota, selling Enterprise Accounts, and winning deals in the ideal customer segment.
  • Fast learning and deep understanding of marketplaces and media space, bonus point if you've used ad products out there and have an understanding of marketplace, retailer, or advertiser pain points;
  • Proven ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to business challenges;
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet customers and attend industry events.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment, Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter attitude.
