Become a member of Janus Healthcare of Florida PA Collaborative Care integrated behavioral health program. The mission of Janus Healthcare of Florida PA is to improve the quality of life for older adults living with the challenges of behavioral health needs and chronic health conditions. We do this through the best practice Collaborative Care model focused on health behaviors and behavioral health for patients in primary care settings.
The Enrollment Specialist is a central member of the of a patient’s collaborative care team. The core team includes patient’s medical provider, the behavioral health clinician, and the psychiatric consultant. The behavioral health clinician is responsible for supporting patients by performing individual assessment and development of treatment plans, providing psychotherapy, coordinating the community and the mental and physical health care of patients on an assigned patient caseload.
As a member Enrollment Specialist, you will be the first point of contact to our prospective members, with the task of contacting them via phone to introduce and explain the Collaborative Care program and assist them with enrollment. You will also work with the rest of the clinical team to ensure the member is engaged responsively and outreached as needed.

- Be a positive ambassador and champion with members for the Collaborative Care program.
- Engage in initial and continuous outreach to a cohort of members on a regular basis (as assigned) virtually and in person, to enroll them in the program.
- Ensure timely documentation of the enrollment in the Clinical EHR.
- Provide appropriate education and answer questions about the program, service expectations, and what to expect working with the behavioral health clinician and the broader team.
- Complete initial member screenings to determine enrollment eligibility.
- After enrollment, ensure a warm hand-off to the behavioral health clinician or schedule an initial appointment for enrollment.
- Research and develop community outreach and resources to ensure the team is able to meet enrollment targets.
- Assist with coordination of and participation in community engagement events, as needed to fill cohorts.
- Coordinate and complete effective outbound calls, to hit individual enrollment targets and ensure the team meets enrollment goals.
- Prepare and maintain records, reports, paperwork, and members’ diagnostic records, maintaining the confidentiality of members at all times.
- Accurately complete all case notes in a professional, timely manner, producing high-quality documentation that enables members to receive the best treatment possible.
- Show each member respect and compassion without crossing therapeutic boundaries, infringing on ethical standards.
- Actively participates in process improvement by identifying areas of inefficiency and contributes to opportunities for enhancement.
- Executes additional responsibilities as required and/or designated by Janus Healthcare management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED or higher.
- 2+ years in healthcare customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly build rapport with prospective members over the phone
- Experience working with high-risk, complex adults preferred.
- Capable of effectively overcoming objections and conveying benefits of enrollment
- Positive attitude and empathy for patient needs
- Strong organizational, data entry, and database management required
- Attention to detail and ability to follow proper processes and procedures with care
- Ability to simplify information and communicate effectively, verbal and written

Schedule
- Primary remote – but able to work Eastern time
- Full-time, hourly, 40 hours/weekly
Compensation
- $17.50 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience
