Job description

Overview

Lamp Rynearson is a client-centric firm that serves clients across the Midwest and Front Range with comprehensive engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, planning, and aquatic design services. We strive to create spaces that generate inclusion, equity, and a sense of belonging through our community-changing projects. The continued success we've achieved with our stakeholders can be attributed to the fact that we are not just ready for change; we are authors of it.

A Day in the Life of our Interns: Every day is a little bit different for interns at Lamp Rynearson. Somedays you may work independently on a set of drawings. On other days, you may attend project update meetings, perform deliveries for projects, and work closely with other professionals on the project team. You'll also get out into the field to observe construction and see projects brought to life.

You'll be Successful Here When you: Are able to work independently and with members of a team and are willing to learn on the job every day. We'll help you build the skills necessary to manage your time and complete your work assignments accurately. Having experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or another drafting software is preferred.

To Work here, you need: To be an active Avenue Scholar and at least 16 years or older by your start date. You'll also need to pass a background and driving record check and have transportation to and from our office.

What you can expect from us: Work closely with talented professionals who will provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship during your time with Lamp Rynearson. Even when you're working independently, you'll never be on your own. You'll build skills in drafting and design by creating and editing drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The design and record drawings and exhibits you produce will help your project team take community changing projects to the finish line. Depending on workload, you may also have the opportunity to work or shadow with other groups.

We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
