The Engineering Technician will work under the direction of management and/or engineering staff as determined by senior management. The Engineering Technician may be asked to work on a variety of engineering tasks, such as prototype testing, equipment trouble shooting, performing of experiments, data collection, data processing, tooling fixtures, etc., depending on skills and experience.

- Recognize any unsafe conditions and take action to correct while reporting to supervisor, lead, or other management representative immediatel
- Troubleshoot and communicate difficulties and observations clearly, in written and/or verbal form
- Perform routine maintenance of equipment and tooling, including preventive maintenance and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work area
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Recognize variations from proper equipment/machine performance and seek corrective action
- Recognize trends in data (run charts, distribution charts, etc.) that indicate product quality concerns, analyze and seek corrective action.
- Maintain accurate records and logs as required
- Responsible for selecting and set-up of tools and equipment to properly complete job assignments
- Use precision measuring instruments to perform inspections of tooling, equipment, and product to ensure they meet requirements
- Ability to correlate tool/equipment performance to product quality
- Assist in training and development of manufacturing employees
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma and 2 or more years’ experience as a Technician In Additive Manufacturing or equivalent experience as determined by management
- An associate’s degree or similar certificate in a complimentary trade preferred
- Knowledge of various machinery, tools, materials and equipment necessary to perform job duties
- Possess excellent computer/PC skills (including word & excel knowledge)
- Acute attention to detail

- Work effectively as a team member and independently
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Solidworks experience a plus
