UAs a Manufacturing Engineer Intern your goal is to work with a manufacturing engineer to support them with everyday tasks.
Job Responsibilities
- Performing time studies
- Update and create work instructions
- Updating machine drawings, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic.
- Document machine KPVs (Key Process Variables)
- Quote and order materials and machine spare parts
- Other duties as needed to support the department
Job Skills Requirements
- Good teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Mechanical and/or electrical background
- Ability to use AutoCAD, Solidworks, or other drafting software a plus
- Knowledge of PLCs and HMI a plus
- Minimum Education High School Diploma or Equivalent,
- Enrolled in a technical school or university seeking a degree in related field (working towards a 4 year degree)
- Able to work a minimum 20 hours per week (M-F between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM)

Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to use power/vibrating tools over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
