Location: Deerfield - IL or Remote

Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering team in designing developing and implementing software solutions using Java Full Stack with Angular.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet both our technical standards and the needs of our clients in the Retail and Specialty Pharmacy sectors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes goals and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team promoting best practices in software development.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from concept to deployment ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss progress address challenges and brainstorm innovative solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of software solutions implementing enhancements as necessary to meet evolving market demands.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends integrating new technologies to enhance product offerings.
- Foster a culture of excellence innovation and collaboration within the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role within the software development sector.
- Strong technical proficiency in Java Full Stack Angular
- Should have the technical skill set in Angular, Java, microservices, Cosmos DB and Azure cloud
- In-depth knowledge of the Retail and Specialty Pharmacy domains.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully leading software development projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills capable of motivating and leading a team towards achieving organizational goals.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 04/18/2024.
The annual salary for this position is between $52K – 136K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
