Capsa Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic college intern to join our team and assist in our ongoing AI initiatives and data analytics projects. As a Capsa Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a group of creative and dedicated Engineers who develop innovative healthcare solutions for a wide spectrum of care providers. You may be part of a scrum team that drives product and customer success, while getting mentorship and support from Senior Engineers and Mentors to help you learn and grow with the ever-changing healthcare manufacturing industry.

Position Location: Portland, OR. We support a hybrid working model.
As the Engineering Intern, your contributions to the team will include:
- Assist in setting up tools and infrastructure for AI initiatives
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preparation for analysis
- Perform data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI solutions
- Assist in developing and testing AI models and algorithms
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI and data analytics
- Document and present findings to stakeholders
- Support in setting up and maintaining AI tools and platforms
- Provide support for other related tasks as needed
What we ask of you:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in the program.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques (Python, R, SQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with AI concepts and technologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
- Familiarity with ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, NLP is a plus
