• Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving processes, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial manufacturing.
• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
• Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing systems specifications, technical drawings or topographical maps.
• Establishing construction, manufacturing or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
• Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities.
• Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential engineering projects and studies.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of equipment and materials.
• Supervising or training project team members.
• Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
• Maintaining process equipment.
• Working with a variety of Managers, Supervisors, Leaders, and Technicians.
• Make safety a priority - personal safety and safety of others
• Support and apply the TAMKO Playlist in all areas

Requirements

• Enrolled in classes toward a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Prior experience in project engineering/management is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP software preferred.

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
