Full-Time: 40 hours/week
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with the Production, Quality and Maintenance teams to identify CI activities across the manufacturing lines.
- To draw current state map, identity non value added waste and develop a future state map.
- Develop a basic understanding of lean and six sigma.
- Develop autonomous maintenance procedures (CILs) and train the operations team on the daily CIL PMs.
- Help the plant management in their daily Gemba walks.
- Help the maintenance and planning team in equipment scans and defect identification process.
- Analyze root cause and implement appropriate corrective action to solve throughput related problems.
- Addressing production and post production issues.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Detail oriented
- Task oriented
Skills/Qualifications:
- Computer experience
- Knowledge of Safety Procedures
Education and Experience:
- Currently pursuing a College Degree in the Engineering field, preferably entering the Senior semester
- Preferably entering the Senior semester
- Experience in food manufacturing, manufacturing, Alchemy systems (or other learning management systems) preferred
