As an Engineering Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and technical drawings for various engineering projects. Your primary objective will be to translate conceptual ideas and project requirements into tangible designs that meet engineering standards and specifications. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and ensure the successful execution of projects. Your role will involve utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools to produce accurate and comprehensive design documentation. Additionally, you may be involved in conducting feasibility studies, analyzing design proposals, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities:
- Interpret project requirements and specifications to develop detailed engineering designs.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to generate design concepts and solutions.
- Create accurate 2D and 3D models, layouts, and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and codes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate design alternatives to optimize project outcomes.
- Review and analyze design proposals to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with project teams to integrate design modifications and updates.
- Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and assist in procurement activities as required.
- Provide technical support and assistance to project stakeholders during construction and implementation phases.
- Document design decisions, calculations, and revisions for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in engineering design.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

- Knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and regulations.

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Engineering Designer or similar role in the engineering or construction industry.
