Nestle Development Center Marysville is one of the longest-standing R&D centers in Nestle's worldwide network. Support the engineering design and deployment of manufacturing equipment while supporting innovation and renovation of products, processes, and systems-from inception through all stages of development and industrialization -for Cold Coffee Beverages, Coffee Creamers, Coffee Concentrates, and Ready-to-Drink (RTD) Coffee Beverages, enabling competitive advantage in the field. Develop new engineering and technology solutions for future manufacturing needs, ensuring manufacturing excellence in a changing landscape. Drive organizational capabilities through our 3rd party partners, such as our suppliers and co-manufacturers, and Support / lead local and international teams in the same.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop, and deploy industrial technology and manufacturing solutions, including aseptic technology
  • Scout both new and existing technologies which enable the future ambition of the Nestle manufacturing landscape
  • Work cross functionally with other teams (safety, electrical & automation, quality & regulatory, suppliers, etc.)
  • Support our markets and factories through technical assistance, project execution, and knowledge transfer for the development of market-local competencies
  • Participate in and support operational improvement initiatives
  • Define and Maintain Standards for both new and existing technologies
  • Support development and deployment projects across R&D and the Markets

Job Qualifications (Minimum Education, Experience, and Knowledge)

Experiential

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years R&D and/or operating / factory experience
  • Experience working with Liquid Processing technology is preferred
  • Experience in design, installation, and commissioning of manufacturing process equipment (hygienic preferred)
  • Experience in Troubleshooting industrial process equipment
  • Spoken foreign languages also a plus
