Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for an Engineer 4, Product Structures/Tooling Developmentin Los Alamos, NM. The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. *No Hybrid or Virtual work will be allowed for this position.
This position will support the Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Navarro employee in a staff augmentation position.

Immediate need of an experienced PTC software PDMLink Product Structure Manager. You will need to have a minimum of 5 years' experience creating, maintaining, and using product structures on a daily basis.
It will be a requirement to be able to create and associate WT Parts and documents into the product structures. You will have to have an expert level of knowledge related to Creo design software and at least 10 years' experience using CAD software.
You will work daily to maintain product structures for existing legacy designs and create new product structures for new designs.
You will be expected to work independently; work as part of a team; and contribute to continuous process improvements to meet customer requirements.
Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:
*Use and apply appropriate standards, such as ASME Y-14.5 2009
*Develop procedures that meet engineering requirements for the creation and maintenance of product structures.
*Develop tooling for use in the production of components fabricated in a Category 2 nuclear facility.
*Work with process technologists to ensure that they are trained appropriately to perform work using tools that have been developed.
*Prepare, review and document technical information for new equipment, including product literature and commercial specifications, for use in our programs.
*Adhere to engineering policies, programs, procedures and practices, such as quality assurance plans and development and production manuals.
Requirements
Education
Position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, math or related degree and 10 years of directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.
Experience
Advanced knowledge and experience with software aided design and drafting. (4-5 years)
Advanced knowledge of PTC's PDMLink specifically Product Structures
Knowledge of engineering principles and basic technical responsibilities, including design and systems technology, within designated discipline (mechanical design/drafting).
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge and experience with PTC's Creo CAD software (may do some design work too if you have the appropriate experience and background).
Familiarity with industry, regulatory, or DOE/NNSA complex codes, standards, and criteria pertinent to the fabrication of plutonium-containing metal components.
Experience working with classified matter.
*Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a Q Level DOE Security Clearance.
