To help drive further impact, we’re searching for an experienced Data and Operations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization. Additionally, this person should be committed to transforming data into readable, goal-oriented reports that drive innovation and growth. The Data Analyst will play a key role on the EmpowerU team, responsible for initiatives designed to develop new business processes, drive business growth, and improve the overall operation.
How you’ll do it:
- Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytics systems, taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks.
- Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets.
- Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
- Efficiently and effectively support EmpowerU’s mission and goals, including KPI development and reporting, reporting/analytics, forecasting, database management, and other operations activities.
- Work directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.
- Develop and implement analysis and research projects aligned with company objectives and goals.
- Work closely with leadership to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
- Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources.
- Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution.
- Support the maintenance of the sales pipeline database and develop and distribute sales/renewal reports.

What we’ll need from you:
- At least two years of data analysis or research experience, ideally within education and/or with a multi-state organization.
- Excellent organizational aptitude and high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization.
- High level of initiative and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle complex, difficult, or sensitive issues.
- Demonstrated responsiveness and a sense of urgency.
- Team player with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple demands and prioritize workload.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office with minimum intermediate Excel knowledge; knowledge of Power BI (or Power Query) and/or Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dataverse preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics.
- Experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques.
- Strong programming experience with frameworks, including XML, JavaScript, and ETL.
- Practical experience in statistical analysis through the use of statistical packages, including Excel, SPSS, and SAS.
- Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
