Position Overview:
The Employee Experience and Organizational Effectiveness Assistant Director is a critical role in building a connected and meaningful Employee Experience across our work environment. The Director will help design, implement, and lead a curated Employee Experience from onboarding to offboarding. Support the end-to-end operations of the employee lifecycle of our Engineering employees, while maintaining a culture of excellence and belonging through events, programming, and activities. The Employee Experience Director will build and execute strategies by collaborating with our leadership and employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in the delivery of a standardized efficient service for People lifecycle, calendar of events, as well as processes and initiatives to support delivery of the People strategy
- Assists in leading all operational activity by building and maintaining key relationships across the business to ensure a great delivery experience
- Assists in striving for operational excellence while keeping the employee at the center
- Assists in innovating and executing state of the art hybrid work model across our offices
- Assists in being our subject matter expert when it comes to the employee life cycle experience for our employees, from items occurring within our HR systems to activities driven by partner teams and people leaders
- Assists in understanding the true meaning of inclusion and diversity and the importance this role plays in fostering employee retention and engagement
- Assists in thinking creatively to build the feeling of belonging to our employee population, leaving no one behind. You’ll ensure that continue to hire and retain outstanding diverse talent
- Assists in leveraging data and metrics to continuously improve our approach, program, or process and to analyze impact
- Open to experimenting; failing quickly, learning, and adapting with the goal of getting to better processes, strategies, and tools to optimize results
- Thrive in a changing environment, adept at navigating ambiguity and creating structure amidst the unknown
- Assists in analyzing People Metrics to monitor and proactively manage people related key performance indicators, and define strategies for improvement and management
- Assists in answering employee inquiries and suggest new initiatives that support employee engagement and experience
- Assists in championing Employee Experience, partnering with leadership to foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture
- Assists in hosting virtual and physical company events and experiences
- Assists in supporting workplace programs and technology to improve how our employees work and collaborate with each other

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree; experience may not be substituted for education.
Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience as an Employee Experience Manager, People Operations Manager or equivalent with a demonstrated track record of great results
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent program skills, written communication and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of developing, driving, and delivering against plans
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership
- You are tech-savvy and have the basics down
- Demonstrated ability to story-tell through data
- Experience influencing, communicating, and presenting at all levels of the organization
- Ability to develop effective operational strategies that are tailored to a hybrid, multi-office workforce
- Experience working on more than one project and priority at a time

Preferences
Experience:
- Experience in the technology/construction/engineering sector is a plus.
- Proven Human Resources experience, preferably experience working in a global, multi-office organization.
General Information
Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:
- 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Monday - Friday
- Subject to Early Mornings, Evenings, Weekends & Holidays as Needed

Salary:
- Commensurate with Experience
- Based on 26 Pay Periods
Employment may be contingent on passing a drug screen and meeting other standards.
