Job Description:

This position entails assisting the Head Embroidery Designer for Holland & Sherry with design work.

This role is ideal for a bright, hardworking candidate who is interested in textiles/design/fashion. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an extremely talented designer who previously worked for one of the world’s top fashion houses and now designs exclusively for Holland & Sherry.

Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with the following:

• Work on custom design CADs
• Review pre-prepared worksheets from showrooms
• Communicate between Embroidery Designer and Holland & Sherry showrooms  
• Handle follow-up on custom orders
• Ad hoc projects 

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of CAD and/or Corel
• Previous experience working in a design office or environment
• Extremely organized, detail oriented and strong time management skills are a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
