- POSITION STANDARDS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience as a RN working in a surgical clinic setting.
- Must obtain and maintain clinical competencies for all MSC 1 clinics within one year.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- The ability to work with minimum supervision, set priorities, and follow through to accomplish results.
- This position requires a 40 hour, 5 days per week work week.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Must act in a professional and courteous manner with the public, patients, co-workers and providers even in difficult situations.
- Must have the ability to flex your schedule, and cover work assignments of the nursing team to provide support.
- Proven leadership and organization skills desired.
- Current NH State RN license required
- Current BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS preferred.

- PART TWO: FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Position Objective
- Organizes and directs clinic services and operations.
- Performance Expectation
- Directly supervises and manages all assigned clinical staff. Oversees timely and accurate completion of clinical staff work. Ensures adherence to clinic standards, procedures and protocols. Assists in the review, development and revisions of policies and procedures.
- Oversees daily workflow of assigned clinical staff; assures adequate staffing by determining staff assignments to provide coverage and optimize provider’s schedules. Assists in providing day-to-day management for various clinical activities.
- Collaborates with the Clinical Manager to oversee training within his/her area of expertise, which includes: identifying needs, developing training, providing/facilitating training, tracking training, and validating effectiveness of training.
- In collaboration with the Clinical Manager and Practice Director, coaches and counsels for performance problems. Completes annual staff performance reviews for assigned staff in a timely manner.
- Interviews and provides feedback on hiring new clinical employees, organizes orientation to train new employees in operational procedures.
- Participates in the Quality Assurance Program as needed. Functions as a resource to technology & operations in designing and implementing workflow changes that will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
- Proficient and able to perform all aspects of the various clinical duties with a high level of competence. Provides daily direct clinical patient care; floats to clinic areas in need of staffing.
- Performs audits to review for appropriate documentation, workflow processes and patient flow, identifies key areas for improvement and staff training based on results.
- Provides support to direct reports regarding complex clinical questions, works as a liaison between the clinics and other departments to resolve questions and promote patient safety and satisfaction. Answers patient’s questions and concerns knowledgeably and refers patients to appropriate resources when necessary.
