ELIGIBILITY REPRESENTATIVE
Description:
The ideal candidate for this position will act as a Case Manager for a government assistance program. This candidate will be performing administrative and clerical functions such as pre-applicant and current tenants screening, to establish eligibility for the government program.
Location: Orlando, FL
Rate of Pay: $ 20.47
Hours: 8 am- 5 pm / Mon – Fri
Bachelor's Degree is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities:
- Data entry on the computer along with scheduling and managing interviews.
- Handling renewals for current clients by screening them for continual eligibility, and perform recertification conferences.
- Place inquires for inspections and compares different rates accordingly.
- Verifies financial documents including personal information along with, credit report and criminal background.
- Compose notifications, contracts, and any legal document pertaining to the prospective tenant.
- Update allowances when necessary
- Keep track of transfers and of those who are on the waiting list.
- Manages a variety of forms such as logs, reports, orientation letters, denial letters, changes reports, certificates/vouchers, and termination letters.
- Provide customer service by answering incoming calls, notating any messages, and directing them to appointed personnel.
- Cover the front desk and help visitors as they walk in as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of Case Management/Social Worker experience.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel. (an assessment will be performed)
- Able to type 40+ wpm.
- Required to have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Be able to lift up to 10 lbs., carry, push and pull.
- Bilingual-English and Spanish a plus.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Fully Vaccinated.
