Des Moines Public Schools is seeking a teacher for 2nd - 3rd grade Montessori classroom.
An Iowa teaching endorsement is required. Montessori training is preferred, however training will be provided beginning June 2024. Candidates interested in the position must be committed to engaging in training.
Job Summary:
Responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality educational program to meet children’s academic and social-emotional needs.
HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES FOR THE POSITION WILL POSSESS:
Previous classroom teaching experience.
Experience in an urban school district.

Contract days vary by assignment

Candidates offered employment will be compensated based on skills, work experience and education.
