MFT Trainee

```Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated MFT Trainee to join our team. As an MFT Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of drug and alcohol counseling. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and families and are looking to further develop their clinical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to children and families
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients in the therapeutic process
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Stay up-to-date with clinical research and evidence-based practices
- Adhere to coding guidelines, including ICD-10, for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Provide trauma-informed care for clients with PTSD
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
- Current enrollment in an accredited MFT program
- Knowledge of child family counseling techniques and interventions
- Familiarity with clinical counseling practices and ethics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
