Elementary School Food Service Cook

SCHOOL INFORMATION
NorthPointe Christian Schools is an independent Christian school formed in 1972 serving over 1,200 preschool through high school students from over 120 churches. HIGHLIGHTS

• This position is at the Elementary building.
• Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15am-1:15pm
• Part-time, ten hours per week.
• During the school year only.

REQUIREMENTS

• Prep and cook par baked food items.
• Give direction to lunch servers as to what is on the menu, correct serving portions, food safety measures when serving, etc.
• Keep food serving line stocked and running smoothly.
• Make and deliver boxed meals.
• Input student's names into software and assure student accounts are charged correctly.
• Follow food safety guidelines according to Health Department rules and regulations.
• Make sure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized each day after lunch is served.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as a cook is helpful but we are willing to train the right person who would enjoy serving students.

• Ability to pass background checks.
• Fingerprinting required.
