Form of workThe Test Technician (Electronics) conducts destructive and non-destructive testing in accordance with written procedures such as Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) or Qualification Test Procedures (QTPs). This position also requires the ability to interpret dimensional drawings and perform test setups.
- Responsible for design verification and acceptance testing of pyrotechnic and electronic products.
- Must be familiar with test equipment (IE: oscilloscopes, multimeters, environmental chambers).
- Reviews system-level Acceptance Test Procedures for a wide variety of pyrotechnic and electrical devices.
- Troubleshooting, calibration and adjustments to test equipment, components and systems.
- Accurate malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components.
- Use small hand and power tools along with various measuring and testing devices.
- Perform appropriate duties associated with specialty IT project-based activities.
- Participate in process improvement meetings and team 5S activities.
- Perform repetitive electrical, dimensional, visual, and leak testing to written procedures using the proper calibrated equipment.
- Document testing results on the appropriate forms.
- Perform house-cleaning duties as assigned.
- Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- AS in related field and / or military experience preferred.
Experience Required: 1-2 years as a Test Technician I or equivalent, with 1 year training or experience in electronics related testing. - Knowledge in the use of Digital data acquisition systems, Oscilloscopes, signal generators, optical power meters, charge amplifiers and general electrical testing equipment.
- Familiarity with MS office products.

Hollister, CA: The hourly range for this position is $19.15 - $35.54 per hour.
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
