The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking a
Electronics Engineer within the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) organization. The new Electronics Engineer will support the Life Extension 2 Program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). Use your strong hardware and systems engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM!
In this role, you will:
• Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, materiel procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multi-function integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy's Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program.
• Support the EGSE Organization as an electronics systems engineer.
• Generate the design requirements for expandable architectures for Special Test Equipment.
• Actively participate in new development efforts supporting across directorates and functions.
• Coordinate with teams to produce metrics and transition to a development phase of the program
Coordinate with the product line manager and architect to support needs.
• Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Support the design, procurement, assembly, test, and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending.
• Develop requirements from subsystem specifications to all locally assigned Support Equipment test systems.
• Interface with suppliers, customer, and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions.
• Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design
and business teams, vendors and customers.
• Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure.
• Ability to travel and work at alternate work sites as required.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• Experience in both design and test of electrical hardware.
2-5 years of professional experience for this role.
• You will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
• Systems Thinking mindset
• Experience working on projects teams and development efforts
• Experience developing hardware requirements and design.
• Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure
• Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement)
EPDM Experience.
Desired skills
• Metrics expertise
• Cameo or Zuken experience
• Previous Systems Engineering Experience
• Hardware Simulation experience
• Agile methodology experience
• Experience with Jira or other issue tracking tools
• Possess strong communication, social, and problem resolution skills

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $67,400 - $129,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,600 - $146,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
