Electronic Technician
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician with a background in electrical assembly, wiring, troubleshooting, and diagnosing electrical issues for custom test equipment supporting an industry leading portfolio of measuring and control devices used in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. In this role you'd be working on projects to improve the productivity and quality of our parts and processes and working with a manufacturing and engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of custom electrical systems and equipment such as multi-channel interfaces, pressure controllers, and commercial power supplies according to specifications.
- Perform electrical assembly tasks, including wiring, soldering and connecting electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Complete all work with a safety and quality mindset following all established procedures.
- Specifying replacement of end of life components or equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree desired
- 3-5 years relevant experience minimum, more desired.
- Experience with LOTO and working in a safety first environment.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing custom electrical components.
- IPC soldering training desired
- Training and or experience with instrumentation and controls.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, NI TestStand & SQL desired
- Familiarity with SolidWorks desired
- Familiarity with Altium desired
