Electronic Controls Technician

The Electronic Controls Technician will have the ability to operate, troubleshoot, maintain and repair the electrical control programs throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:

• Install & maintain plant equipment to meet specs and regulations.
• Maintain cost control over equipment for budget purposes
• Maintenance in other areas of the facility when needed
• Repair & trouble shooting of electrical wiring, PLC's, controllers, lighting controls and electrical motors in a production environment.
• Ensure that GMP's (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
• Maintain a relationship with local power company
• Assist IT Admin with daily, weekly and monthly tasks
• Installation of PLC equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Related Two-year college degree and/or a minumum of 3 years of PLC experience and programming
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good electical knowledge
• Advanced computer skills
• Willingness and ability to work in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
