Electronic Security Technician Fortress Security LLC. San Antonio, TX

Fortress Security is currently seeking dedicated entry level to master level technician for the installation and service of intrusion alarm, access control, digital video surveillance, fire alarm and related systems and components.

Job Type: Full time

Education: High School Diploma, Relevant Associates Degree (preferred)

Experience: Preferred but will train the right candidate

Salary: $50,000.00 - $90,000/ year based on experience

Job Location: San Antonio, TX

Required License or certification: Valid and Clean Texas DL, Must be able to pass a drug and background screen.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ambitious, honest and reliable
• Be able to pass drug and background check
• Be able to climb ladders, work from lifts
• Must be able to read blue prints for installation
• Must be able to run and complete a project on time with minimal supervision
• Carry items up to 50 pounds
• IP Video and IT experience extremely helpful
• Maintain a neat and organized work environment
• Must be able to teach/train the end user (the Customer) on how to use the system upon completion of the installation
• Familiarity with key products including, CCTV, Access Control, Security and Fire Systems 
• Experience within the Electronic Security or related field, preferred
• Ability to use mobile apps in the field and work with a remote team to get systems up and running
• Strong mechanical, electrical and electronic aptitude
• Willingness to learn and grow within our company
• Ability to work effectively with others
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
