Job Responsibilities for Electromechanical Engineer:
- Develop new technical ideas from proof-of-concept, to prototype, to production-level beta unit, to finished product
- Design training material or manuals as it relates to controls
- Responsible for ongoing testing and code development of new products
- Travel to company factories to support the manufacturing challenges during initial launch of a new product
- Support troubleshooting field issues that occur during a product launch
- Travel to customer sites and trade shows
Qualifications for Electromechanical Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experience
- 5-10 years of experience programming PLC systems from scratch
- Knowledge of the workings of system controls panels
- Experience in a continuous process environment
- Experience creating method statements and risk assessments
- Food Industry experience a plus
- Able to travel domestically/internationally 20%
- Experience using AutoCAD and familiar with reading a drawing
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and Power Point. Experience with SAP a plus
- Experience with SCADA or MES system is a plus
