Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as Electroencephalography - EEG Tech. You will operate electroencephalograph equipment to measure impulse frequency and differences in electrical potential between areas of the brain and/or to obtain data for use on diagnosing brain disorders.

Job Description

• Prepares patient for EEG exam, applies electrodes to patient's head, operates and maintains appropriate equipment, identifies tracing, prepares record.
• Verifies orders through HIS and sets-up priorities of patients requiring electrocochleographic tests, (EEG tests).
• Prepares and positions patients for EEGs tests.
• Attached electrodes to the patient's head.
• Maintains s patient records, both paper and computerized through electronic storage.
• Identifies tracings, prepares records and enters results into HDS.

Skills Required

• 1 year EEG Technologist experience.
• Client communication.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma/GED or EEG Certification required.
• AHA BLS – required.

Additional Requirements

• Malpractice Insurance - All clinical workers are required to have active individual Medical Malpractice. A copy must be provided prior to start of assignment. All clinical workers licensed by the state of NY are required to provide.
• Shift Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Rate

• $37.00 per hour
