Position: Electro-Mechanical Technician
Location: Liberty Lake, WA
Job Overview:
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician at Infinitum, you will play a key role in the testing, validation, and troubleshooting of motor systems used in many Industrial applications. Your responsibilities will include making and setting up test fixtures and conducting tests, collecting, and analyzing data, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure the performance and reliability of our motor systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Setup and Execution:
- Plan and Build test fixtures as required.
- Set up and operate testing equipment for motor systems, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Conduct various tests to evaluate the performance, efficiency, and durability of motor systems.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Monitor and collect data during tests, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Analyze test results, identifying trends, deviations, and potential issues.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing, working collaboratively with engineers to implement corrective measures.
- Perform routine maintenance on testing equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of test setups, procedures, and results.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand testing requirements and contribute insights based on test results.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address and resolve any issues related to motor system testing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a test technician, preferably in electric motor systems testing.
- Familiarity with testing equipment, data acquisition systems, and measurement tools.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with LabView a plus.
